Refund Policy

Paid session bookings are scheduled directly through this site and paid via Stripe at the time of booking. This policy describes when refunds, reschedulings, and credits are available. Free consultations booked via the application form involve no payment and are not covered by this policy.

Cancellations

  • More than 24 hours before the scheduled session: Full refund upon request, or reschedule at no cost.
  • Within 24 hours of the scheduled session: No refund. The session may be rescheduled once at my discretion; further reschedulings require a new booking.
  • No-shows (client fails to attend without notice): No refund or reschedule.
  • Cancellation by me: If I cancel for a reason within my control, you receive a full refund or may reschedule at no cost. Disruptions caused by a third-party service outage or another event outside my control are handled under Service outages below, not as a cancellation by me.

Reschedulings

You may reschedule at any time more than 24 hours before your session using the link in your booking confirmation email. Within 24 hours, contact noah@noahratzan.com.

Service outages and events outside our control

Sometimes a session can't run as intended because of a problem with a third-party service I rely on — for example, an outage of Claude Code or Anthropic, another AI tool, or a cloud or internet provider — or another event outside my reasonable control. Because the cause is outside my control, these situations are resolved by rescheduling at no cost, not by a refund:

  • If such an outage affects or prevents your session, you may reschedule at no cost, no matter how close it is to the session time (including during the session itself). This is not treated as a cancellation by me.
  • This does not reduce any rights you already have under the cancellation windows above. If your session is more than 24 hours away, you may still cancel for a full refund (or reschedule) under the normal policy — whether or not an outage is happening.
  • If an outage occurs within 24 hours of your session — when refunds are not otherwise available — rescheduling at no cost is the remedy.
  • If a session repeatedly cannot be completed because of ongoing outages, email noah@noahratzan.comand we'll find a fair resolution, which may include a credit or refund at my discretion.

Unsatisfactory sessions

If you are not satisfied with a session, email noah@noahratzan.com within seven (7) days of the session to discuss a resolution. Resolutions may include, at my discretion: a partial or full refund, a complimentary follow-up session, or credit toward a future booking. Note that satisfaction with any code or output produced during a session is governed by the Terms of Service, not this refund policy.

Refund processing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe. Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, though timing depends on your bank or card issuer.

For refund requests, email noah@noahratzan.com with:

  • Your booking confirmation (event date and time)
  • Your Stripe receipt or payment confirmation
  • Reason for the refund request

Stripe processing fees

Refunds include the full amount you paid. Stripe processing fees associated with the original transaction are borne by me and not deducted from the refund.

Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please email me before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer. Most disputes can be resolved directly and far more quickly than the chargeback process, which can take weeks.
